Software Support Analyst

My client is a large global company based in Chester (near Chester zoo), they are looking for a Software Support Analyst to join their team.

You will work closely with developers, testers, project managers and sales teams; providing technical support for both desktop and web-based software products hosted on customer sites. You will focus on improving support procedures and practice, coordinating the deployment of fixes to customer servers and manage multiple customers KPI’s.

The successful candidate will have previously worked within a support analyst role & be experienced with 1st and 2nd line support. You will be experienced using issue tracking tools such as JIRA with knowledge of either Oracle or HTTP webservices. You will be familiar with windows servers and database connections as well as being experienced with running SQL scripts whilst diagnosing and resolving issue. You will have previously worked at a management level managing tickets and assigning them.
