Role: Senior Electronics Engineer (FPGA)

Location: (Commutable from: Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Chester)

Salary: £35,000 -£42,000 + Strong Benefits

Day to Day Activity:

The successful engineer will have expertise in hardware, software and firmware so they can support new product development.

Work load will include developing and designing electro-optic systems, which contain embedded software and firmware modules.

The project comes with a challenge, and attention to detail and proven experience are key.

Activities:

*Hardware Design prototype manufacturing and testing (schematic capture)

*VDHL module implementation to allow real time imaging and digital video

*Low power FPGA hardware design

*Embedded software development

Ideal Requirements

*Electronics Degree or relevant degree

*3+ years of electronics design experience

*FPGA testing and design

*Embedded C experience

*Strong communication skills

*Video systems and processing technical ability

*Chipscope or synthesis experience an asset
