Product Owner (Wireless/Wifi Systems)

Are you a Product Owner/Manager with demonstrable experience of working in an agile environment, or perhaps as an Agile Coach?

Do you have an understanding and appreciation for wireless systems, software or product development or and a technical skillset?

Do you have practical experience of delivering complex wireless systems?

With these combined attributes, you could be the successful candidate to start a brand-new role with an industry leading company, working with engineers and development teams on a world class Wireless Platform!

Based North of London near St Albans, you will be working for an established company, but part of their Technology ‘start-up’ division, where management champion ‘autonomous working’, flexibility, freedom to add and share ideas, and collaborate with all teams across a flat, non-hierarchical structure.

Additional experience which will work in your favour includes;

*Previous experience in a Product Development role.

*Track record delivering high quality systems that meet business need in a timely fashion.

*Experience in estimating the value of system features, and in cost-benefit analysis and constructing business cases.

*Knowledge and experience of agile methodologies.

*Experience of managing a product backlog.

This company use a variety of wireless technologies to operate at a scale and with an efficiency that is unrivalled in their industry. They are responsible for identifying solutions to business challenges and delivering the wireless component for these solutions. This includes assessment of suitable technology, validation that the RF aspects will meet the performance criteria within our complex warehouses as well as developing the enterprise aspects such as monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting toolsets.

You will be working with key stakeholders within the Operations team and the various Development teams to help prioritise projects and features while balancing them with the work required to keep the development processes agile.

You will have responsibility for:

*Deliver the product vision and strategy to drive our systems and business processes forward

*Facilitating the agile processes and removing obstacles in workflow wherever required

*Product backlog management

*Working with stakeholders to define scope and prioritise stories to maximise business value using products created by the development teams

*Maintaining the development teams focus on delivering value, balancing multiple streams of requirements and schedules so that they can concentrate on what they do best: delivering great products!

*Working with development teams in estimation and review sessions
